2022 Branko "Capo Branko" Bianco Venezia Giulia 0,75 lt
Bright straw colour. Notes of white peach fine, stark apple, citrus fruits, herbs, magnolia flowers, sweet spices, balsamic effluvia and laurel shades. The palate is soft and creamy, it highlights an important structure but well governed by intense freshness that makes the drink easy and enjoyable. Delicately aromatic memories of zest and delicate blooms with a persuasive finish.
The BRANKO winery is completing its work of many years aimed at enhancing the single variety wines with a new project that is receiving strong support. BRANKO aims to restore the dignity of some of the historical white varieties of the Collio with a blend embellished with the organoleptic harmonies of french grape varieties that have been perfectly acclimatized for centuries in the hills of Cormons
Since 1998, qualified oenologist Igor has transformed the property. He started with the land today, Branko has more than six hectares under almost exclusively white skinned varieties - and then concentrated on the winery itself and the hospitality facilities. Fermentation and maturation cellars were given a complete makeover. Modern winemaking equipment was brought in to ensure that grapes and bunches are treated with due respect.
