2021 Sena Vinedos Chadwick 0.75lt
The 2021 Seña is a deep ruby wine with violet hues and delicate aromas of strawberries, cassis, and rose petals, along with hints of cloves, spice, and cocoa. Its rich palate features red fruit, blackcurrants, pastries, and dark chocolate, balanced by juicy acidity and fine-grained tannins. This wine has excellent aging potential and received high ratings: 100 points from James Suckling, 98 points from Robert Parker, 94 points from Wine Spectator, and 95 points from The Wine Independent. Established in 1995 by Eduardo Chadwick and Robert Mondavi, Seña showcases Chile’s wine potential with a Bordeaux style influenced by the Carmenere grape, grown biodynamically in the Aconcagua Valley. The 2021 vintage is noted for its vibrant purity, aromatic complexity, and refreshing acidity, resulting from ideal growing conditions, including average rainfall and a cooler summer for gentle grape ripening. The harvest included Malbec, Cabernet Sauvignon, Petit Verdot, and Carmenere, all picked at optimal maturity.
