As a secret, Svelato reveals who we are: one with our territory and with our passion for wine.
This Falanghina del Sannio DOP, with a straw yellow colour with greenish reflections, has a fruity smell of apple, pineapple and wild flowers with mineral tones. A soft taste with high aromatic persistence completes its mysterious and magical aura.
Five generations and a strain that has its roots in the fertile soil of time. Our seed bears the name of Filippo Iacobacci. It was 1898. A man, a cellar and an oil mill. Then the 60s of the last century. Armando, son of Philip, passes the baton to his two sons: Charles and Philip.
Ours is an organic farm of ancient traditions. Gardens all around, our underground cellar of three thousand square metres and a tasting room where you can appreciate our wines accompanied by the typical local cuisine. Twenty-five hectares of vineyards processed as in the past and a microclimate that cradles the growth of native grapes: those of Sanyo beneventano. Falanghina, Greco, Fiano and Alginic.
Pairing Suggestions: Ideal with shellfish and pasta dishes based on fish. You can also try it with medium-aged cheeses.
Maturation: Entirely in stainless steel tanks, through fine scum management with regular batonnages from 4 to 6 months. After 3-4 weeks of ageing in the bottle, the wine begins to fully express the fresh and fruity characteristics that suit the Samnite whites.
