Red Branko is a young fruity wine to which a short aging in wood has brought greater softness, grace and balance. This red recalls the aromas of wild berries such as raspberry, blackberry and blueberry to which is added the elegant hint of black cherry. Its freshness further highlights its importance: it is full-bodied and generous, suitable for drinking young and can certainly become great with moderate aging.
Branko's is a "garden-vineyard", with traditional ("upside-down") and French ("Guyot") training systems. The use of wooden poles contributes to the functionality of the work and the aesthetic value of the vineyards, protected with "integrated" methods favoring organic formulations.
Since 1998, Igor (oenologist diploma) has transformed the company reality, first in the countryside (today the specialized vineyard area exceeds seven hectares, almost entirely cultivated with white grape varieties), then in the cellar and in the reception facilities. The winemaking and refinement rooms have been completely renovated, with modern equipment, respectful of the structure of the bunches and grapes.
Pairing Suggestions: Ideal with red meat dishes, noble poultry, game meats and mature cheeses.
Maturation: After malolactic fermentation, it is refined for a year in 400-liter oak barrels. After another 6 months of rest in the bottle it is put on the market.
