Typical red grape variety of Prepotto (as underlined in its name), where the characteristics of the soil make this wine fine and elegant. Its organoleptic traits are spicy: black pepper, blueberry, blackberry and liquor-soaked cherries are the main scents developed during the sharpening and they can still be present even when the glass is empty
The Riserva contains pleasantness of an elegant tannin, like a Pinot Noir,it is never predictable. Its strong suit as a wine is its amazing smell. Schioppettino di Prepotto is a wine that reflects very well the characteristics provided by the Prepotto terroir and, once the bottle is open, is able to release all the elegance of a timeless wine.
After 4 years it can be called Schioppettino di Prepotto Riserva and for us every Riserva is the maximum display of the product of a specific year, characterized by the balance between vineyard, cellar and territory. Riserva has a more pronounced character when smelled, the tobacco leaves are very present, liquorice and carob are a sweet note.
The wood scent is pleasantly blended with the wine structure without distorting its balance.

All our production takes place with utmost respect for the consumers, using low SO2 dosage, therefore obtaining very characteristic wines which express typicality without misrepresenting the territory.
Maturation: Spontaneous fermentation with indigenous yeasts,; we sharpen it in oak barrel for 24 months,24 months in bottle.
