Bloody and chameleon like offering mixed scents of wet red flowers, raspberries, blackcurrants and wrought iron. I like the memories of iodine and chalk in the background, one of the most intriguing expressions of ‘made in Montalcino’. Medium bodied, refined tannins of a good quality and grip and a graceful, dynamic finish.

Padelletti Winery is one of the oldest winery of Montalcino, wine makers since the beginning of 1571…
Five hundred years of history of passion and quality, only one family.
Since 1571 our family has continued to produce a wonderful Brunello and Rosso di Montalcino, the Vineyards are located in the north side of Montalcino where the vines grow in perfect climat conditions, under the care and attention of Padelletti family.
The wine celler is located in Montalcino city centre, the only winery that you can visit in Montalcino city centre.
The wine cellar, erected in 1571 is the witness of this long history and the place where we organize visits and wine tastings. The Tourists can discover all the secrets for making wine in a magical route that starts in the fermentation room and ends in the refinement room.
The wine cellar is surrounded by the typical Tuscany countryside: dominated by a wonderful view of Val D’Orcia.
Twenty-seven generations have had in common a passion: Viticulture.
The company philosophy is based on respect for tradition, with a focus on innovation, to achieve the highest quality standards.
Our Brunello is a niche product for a WineLovers audience and connoisseurs of good wine.
Maturation: Our Brunello di Montalcino comes from a very careful manual selection of the grapes, it ferments in vitrified concrete vats for approximately 25/30 days. It then ages for at least 2 and a half years in oak barrels of around 30 hl, after which it spends another 12 months in cement barrels and is subsequently bottled where it remains for at least 4/5 months before being put on the market.
