2015 Milklus Collio Rosso Negro di Collina
The 2015 Milklus Collio Rosso Negro di Collina features a deep ruby color and a complex flavor profile with notes of black cherry, raspberry, plums, blackberries, black currants, licorice, and tobacco. On the palate, it offers fresh herb notes, a persistent mineral quality, and a full-bodied experience with medium tannins and a soft finish. The vineyard's history dates back to the early 1900s when Ivan Miklus began cultivating grapevines, later supported by his son Franz. In 1992, they launched their first wine labels, Draga, and later introduced the Miklus label with the help of grandson Milan and his wife Anna. In 2006, they began producing wines with long maceration.
