Marchesi di Barolo "Le Riserve" 2 bottles in wooden box.
This product includes two bottles of "Le Riserve" by Marchesi di Barolo, presented in a wooden box. It features a Barbaresco d.o.c.g. Riserva 2015 and a Barolo d.o.c.g. Riserva 2015. Historically, wines made from the nebbiolo grape were sweet and sparkling. In 1787, Thomas Jefferson described nebbiolo as "silky as Madeira, as astringent as Bordeaux, and as brisk as Champagne." The wine evolved into its current full-bodied character thanks to Marchesa Giulia di Barolo, who established new cellars for aging in large casks, ensuring the wine's noble quality. Today, Barolo continues its legacy through careful maintenance in centuries-old oak casks.
