Ruby red. The aroma is delicate, with pleasant notes of wild berries alternating with spicy hints of black pepper. Elegant on the palate, a slightly tannic and well-structured wine with a good correspondence between aromas and flavours. Good persistence.
The organic Pinot Noir of the Bervini winery is produced with Pinot Noir grapes grown in the vineyards owned by the winery and located in Sequals in the province of Pordenone, in the heart of the DOC Grave del Friuli. All the vineyards don’t use herbicides, chemical fertilizers and synthetic insecticides but only products the community regulation allows. The winery believes organic farming is the right choice to protect the environment and human health. For them, it is essential to work as nature commands.
This Pinot Noir is part of the “Puro” (pure) line, a line of wines created with the selection of the best grapes grown organically for decades. This line fully represents the passion for quality which is the DNA of the Bervini winery.
OUR HOUSE This ancient spinning mill, about 70 kilometres from Venice, has become our place of the soul. Here we feel that our work absorbs the positivity of spaces, to transform nature into something beautiful, good. Of precious.
PLEASED TO MEET YOU, I AM PAOLO. MY WINES TELL ME. I give them the word, always. Because I think they know how to tell better than me the passion and love with which I produce them. I grew up in the middle of the vineyards, I naturally chose organic farming. And every time I walk between the rows I feel like I've made the right choice. Because I know that the nature around me will give more value to my wines.
Pairing Suggestions: Perfect with white and red meats but also with fish. Try it with mushroom risotto.
Maturation: After harvesting, the selected grapes are taken to the cellar for winemaking. The fermentation of the grapes takes place on the skins at a temperature of 18/20° C and lasts about 12 days. After the soft pressing, the wine ages at a controlled temperature in barriques and tonneaux and after assembly and bottling, it rests for a few months in the cellar before being placed on the market.
