The 2021 Draga Miklus “Malvasia” Orange is golden yellow colour; broad and very characteristic nose, slightly aromatic with hints of nutmeg, peach in syrup and apricot. The sip is reminiscent of tropical fruit, very persistent, mineral, fine and harmonious. This wine has been praised by critics achieving 3 glasses from Gambero Rosso and 91 points from Winemag.
The winery's history began in the early 1900s when Ivan Miklus acquired land for grape cultivation. His son Franz revitalised the vineyard, and in 1992, the first Draga wine labels were introduced. Later, grandson Milan and his wife Anna began producing wines under the Miklus label, and in 2006, they started producing wines with long maceration.
