2020 Suavia Castellaro Soave Classico Limited Edition
The 2020 Suavia Castellaro Soave Classico Limited Edition features a bright straw yellow color. Its aroma combines mineral notes with hints of white pepper and jasmine. On the palate, it is taut and dynamic, with a long, subtly salty finish. The vineyard, located on the northern slope of Monte Castellaro, benefits from a cool climate and stony volcanic soil, which is rich in basalt. This small plot of less than one hectare is at an elevation of 220 meters and has a 20% slope. The Garganega vines, approximately 50 years old, are trained using the Pergola Veronese method. The unique soil and microclimate of the area, including Fittà, Castellaro, and Tremenalto, contribute to the high-quality grapes grown here. The winery, established in 1982 by Giovanni and Rosetta, is now run by their three daughters, who continue the family tradition of winemaking. The vineyard management focuses on preserving the landscape and the natural harmony of the environment.
