The 2020 Draga Miklus Pinot Grigio Orange is a coppery colour, natural colour obtained of long maceration. The wine has a continuous evolution, complex fruity and floral bouquet, slightly aromatic with notes of dry hay, toasted almonds, liquorice, red fruits, vanilla etc.. Intense, dry and full-bodied on the palate with a strong character, savoury and mineral, long and very persistent.
The winery's history began in the early 1900s when Ivan Miklus acquired land for grape cultivation. His son Franz revitalised the vineyard, and in 1992, the first Draga wine labels were introduced. Later, grandson Milan and his wife Anna began producing wines under the Miklus label, and in 2006, they started producing wines with long maceration.
