2018 Marchesi di Barolo Barbera d'Alba "Ruvei" 1,5lt. Magnum
The 2018 Marchesi di Barolo Barbera d'Alba "Ruvei" 1.5lt Magnum features a vivid ruby colour with purple nuances. Its fresh aroma includes fruity notes of blackberry and red berry jam, along with spicy hints of vanilla and roasted hazelnuts. The taste is full and enveloping, with a slight acidity and well-integrated woody notes. Barbera d'Alba is a traditional Piedmont wine, made from grapes grown in clay and limestone soils, which contribute to its excellent structure and balanced character. The Marchesi di Barolo winery carefully selects vineyard locations and ensures optimal grape ripening to produce a softer, more structured wine with less acidity.
