The 2015 Barbera d’Alba from their Serralunga Francia vineyard continues the legacy of big, mineral-driven Barbera. I really like the 2015 vintage, it was a superb year and this bottle delivers. You’ll find black fruits and red cherries, baked plum, some herbal notes and a touch of anise. There’s plenty of minerality and the acidity is balanced. The 2015 release is masculine and powerful.
