2009 Guerrini "Brandaglia" Sangiovese Toscana 0,75 lt
It shows an intense ruby red colour, an intense, characteristic and elegant smell, a dry, balanced flavour and a good structure.
Vineyards represent 25 hectares of the land, rather than the further 7 hectares are being installed. The vineyards extend on the hills, by following with their installation the curves of maximum slide and they live in harmony with the other cultivations, in particular by integrating themselves with the olive surrounding background.
The most important wine production avails itself of the controlled and granted denomination “Chianti”. Other wines fall within the DOC Pietraviva and IGT Tuscany denominations. The vineyards exposition is aimed to optimize the benefits of the sunbeams.
The Azienda Agraria 'Guerrini' was founded in 1972, as a gift of three hectares of Chianti vineyard with an adjoining small cellar, made by Orfeo Guerrini to his son Eugenio. In the decade 1990/2000 the company was expanded with acquisitions of land and buildings in the municipalities of Pergine Valdarno and Bucine, to reach an extension of over 145 hectares, cultivated with vineyards, olive groves and arable land. Sheep and pig farming is also practised, as well as agritourism.
