2021 Perusini Sauvignon 0,75lt
The 2021 Perusini Sauvignon is a brilliant pale lemon yellow wine with a typical Sauvignon character. It features intense aromas of elderflower and gooseberry, evolving into warmer notes of honeysuckle and grapefruit. On the palate, it is warm and round with fine fruit flavors, balanced by a firm acidity and a pronounced mineral finish. This wine is produced exclusively from grapes grown in the Perusini vineyard, which is terraced on loam rock known as Ponca in Friuli. The estate, recognized in Luigi Veronelli's "I vignaioli storici," is managed by Teresa, the daughter of Giampaolo, along with her husband Giacomo and their three sons. The vineyard has a strong focus on native vines, cultivated with care over three generations.
