Wine Tasting Events

Once a month we invite a producer to present a selection of wines from their estate.

April 25th and 26th -Lopez Cristobal-A family run winery in the heart of Spains Ribera Del Duero. It was in 1994 when Santiago López managed to achieve his dream of creating his own winery. Each grape is manually picked with delicacy in fruit boxes to avoid any damages to them. This love and care has been passed down through the generations.

15th May - Vinum Vinum Fine Wines with Medici Ermete from Emilia Romagna winerys between Modena and Parma and Piona Family from Veneto winerys in the area between Verona and Garda Lake.

The Piona is the story of a family and of different people with one common passion: wine. Likewise, in Veneto area famous for Amarone, Ripasso, Lugana, Garganega, Bardolino. The four estates, Cavalchina, Prendina, Torre d’Orti and ‘L lac, are distinguished entities and expressions of different territories which are connected by the story of one family, the respect of territory and a continuous search for innovation and quality which has to remain faithful to tradition.

Medici Ermete: The company owns about 80 hectares of land cultivated entirely organically. The 80 hectares are divided into five estates in the most suitable areas for producing Lambrusco wine: four in Reggio Emilia and one in Modena. The high plain and the foothills of the Emilia area are particularly suitable for growing grapes, thanks to the microclimate and the features of the clay-rich soil. In Reggio Emilia, the Medici Ermete winery has one of its best estates: Tenuta Rampata, where Lambrusco Concerto is produced. In Modena, on the most recent estate purchased, Lambrusco di Sorbara Phermento is produced.

5th and 6th June - Conte Vistarino-In 1850, Count Augusto Giorgi di Vistarino was the first person to plant Pinot Noir in the Oltrepò, giving rise to the great sparkling wine tradition of the Oltrepò Pavese. He left a legacy and a responsibility to carry on his vision and his love for the territory, always aiming for excellence.

The Vistarino dynasty is today represented by Ottavia Giorgi di Vistarino who is respecting its tradition, but putting character and personality into it. The Estate (with an extension of 826 hectares, of which 200 planted with vineyards and 100 of Pinot Noir) has a natural biodiversity and a dry climate that represent the ideal context for the Pinot Noir. Their range, in addition to Pinot Noir, is completed with red, white and rose wines, Charmat and Classic method sparkling and sweet wines.
