2018 Perusini Zenta Bianco 0,75lt
The 2018 Perusini Zenta Bianco is crafted from Sauvignon grapes of three different local clones and undergoes a unique maceration process similar to Chardonnay. The wine is matured entirely in stainless steel, while French clones are gently pressed after cold contact in dedicated presses. The must is kept cold and moved three times daily to enhance the release of aromatic compounds, creating the wine's remarkable bouquet. Produced exclusively from grapes grown in the estate's terraced vineyards on loam rock, or Ponca, in Friuli, this wine reflects three generations of research into native vines. The Perusini vineyards are recognized as one of the historic Italian wine-growers listed by Luigi Veronelli. Today, the estate is managed by Teresa, the daughter of Giampaolo, who balances her art history studies with running the vineyard alongside her husband, Giacomo de Pace, and their three sons.
