2021 Lopez Cristobal Rosè Rosado
Translucent bright red pink colour. Intense spicy blood orange, peach and pomegranate aromas combine with a touch of musk. Full and round in the mouth with a slippery feel the palate has a fruity flavour profile of blood oranges and pomegranate over some ripe peach and spice. Dry finish, lively acidity and a medium length aftertaste.
The passion for viticulture has been transmitted from generation to generation. "We firmly believe in the care of the vineyard as a sign of identity for the elaboration of wines with soul."
Currently the winery has 70 Ha. of its own vineyards in the terms of Roa and Pedrosa de Duero. Most of them, and those who give the identity, are from the Tinta del País variety. As a complement and to incorporate nuances there is Merlot and Albillo Mayor.
It was in 1994 when Santiago López managed to carry out the dream of creating his own winery. It all started much earlier, around the 30s, when his father, also called Santiago, started a new family project in the Ribera del Duero in the same place where the winery has been located today.
