2018 Marchesi di Barolo Barbera d'Alba Peiragal 1,5lt Magnum (gift box)
The 2018 Peiragal is a 1.5-liter Magnum made from 100% Barbera grapes from Alba. It has a deep ruby color with mauve hints and offers aromas of ripe black cherry, black currant, raspberry, cinnamon, and vanilla. This wine features a full and elegant body with smooth tannins and a long-lasting taste. The term "Peiragal" refers to hillside vineyards with clay and limestone soils that encourage deep root growth, resulting in sparse bunches and a structured wine with balanced acidity and alcohol.
