NV Domaine Evremond Classic Cuvée Brut, England 0,75lt.
Pure, elegant and distinctive, revealing a fresh and flinty character. Beautifully balanced and laced with a whisper of white fruits, grapeffruit and spring blossom.
The Classic Cuvée expresses the heart and soul of Domaine Evremond. The Kentish terroir, with its chalky soils and oceanic influence, is expressed through the wine’s minerality and precision.
Domaine Evremond is the realisation of a shared dream between lifelong friends Pierre-Emmanuel Taittinger and Patrick McGrath to craft exceptional English Sparkling Wine of the highest quality. Domaine Evremond takes its name from Charles de Saint-Évremond (1613-1703), a Frenchman and the first true ambassador for the wines of Champagne, who fuelled its popularity in England at the court of Charles II. A poet, epicurean and literary critic, he was buried in Poet’s Corner in Westminster Abbey. The Taittinger family, passionate historians, have always been inspired by the Evremond story and named their own historic venture in his memory.
