94 POINTS WINE ENTHUSIAT

94 POINTS WINE SPECTATOR

Considered one of the greatest expressions of Italian enology, Brunello di Montalcino is produced exclusively with grapes from the vine of the same name, which represents a variety of Sangiovese Grosso. The Brunello di Montalcino of the Lisini Agricultural Company stands out for its truly superior characteristics obtained through continuous care of the vines, cultivated with traditional methods and excluding any forcing practice, careful selection and thinning of the bunches during growth and a careful selection of the grapes during the harvest. All this, combined with the most modern winemaking methods, ensures an exceptional level even with seasonal trends that are not entirely favourable.

The Lisini agricultural company covers an area of 154 hectares and is located in the southern part of the municipality of Montalcino, 8 km from it and 1 km from the hamlet of Sant'Angelo in Colle.

The very happy position of the vineyards, which extend for almost 24 hectares, associated with the excellent quality of the soil, allow for an exceptional quality of the grapes which produce one of the best Brunellos of Montalcino.

In particular, the vineyards open to the sea currents of the Maremma have a particular microclimate, extremely different from other areas of the municipality, consisting of reduced rainfall and absence of fog.
