The colour is a brilliant and vivid garnet red. The aroma opens with fruity notes reminiscent of blackberry and raspberry, with spicy scents of cinnamon and cloves in the background. It has an impressive powerful taste, tempered by an elegant character that reveals sweet and well-combined tannins.

Serragrilli is a gentle hill in the municipality of Neive, mapped on sheet no. 7, parcels 18-136-138-324. It is exposed to the south-west, where the nebbiolo grapes receive the sun rays until late in the evening. The ground is uniform in structure and composition. The soil is firm, with a homogeneous ratio between macro- and microelements: clay and limestone are covered by an adequate mantle of quartz sands and very fine silt. The vineyard grows on the upper part of the hill, up to the crest.

Pairing Suggestions: It is ideal for sipping alongside typical starters from the Langhe, pastas and agnolotti with hearty sauces, red meats, roasts, braised and boiled meats, hard medium-ripened cheeses.

Maturation: "The grapes, harvested exclusively by hand, are taken to the cellar and quickly destemmed and then delicately pressed. Fermentation with maceration takes place at a controlled temperature and frequent pumping over allows the must to be enriched with all the polyphenolic compounds present in the skins. Atthe end of fermentation, once an optimal extraction level has been reached, we proceed with racking."
