A blend of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc, the Orma 2020 Orma is richly concentrated and midnight black in appearance. It presents considerable intensity in terms of its ink-like flavors of wild plum, blackberry confit, dark spice and cured tobacco. The wine wraps heavily over the palate, imparting lots of important textural richness along the way. You are best off serving a wine of this depth and magnitude with a classic T-bone cut bistecca alla fiorentina.

Orma is a Tuscan wine that stems from a 7.5-hectare vineyard, 5.5 of which are planted with vines. The vines face south-west and are 20 years old on average. They are planted on deep soils composed predominantly of pebbles, clay and little sand, ideal conditions in a warm climate.
Orma is the first wine produced by the estate. Produced since 2005, Orma has been recognised beyond the country’s borders for its quality, power and balance since its first vintage.
The Orma estate, whose name means "footprint" in Italian, was founded by Antonio Moretti, who also owns the Sicilian estate Tenuta Sette Ponti. Following extensive research to identify the best terroir, Antonio Moretti founded this estate in the province of Livorno, near Bolgheri, with the ambition of producing exceptional Tuscan wines that express the potential of these fine Italian vineyards with authenticity and excellence.
