The 2013 LV is still tight and reticent in the nose but shows development as aromas of dark fruits, violet, licorice and cola emerge with vigorous airing. There are notes of red flowers, tobacco and black tea in the background that hint to its developing complexity. On the palate, the wine feels both tight, expansive and stunningly long. There is a core of black fruits livened by the excellent acidity and sweet ripe tannins. The finish shows spice and mineral notes as the black fruits linger on the tongue.

"Le Garagiste". Our story started in the 70s in our Family garage and since then it's been brought forward with heart, commitment and much presence of mind. From the simple things, Sandrone's philosophy was born. Today as much as yesterday, but with stronger and solid roots, we keep on doing our work well. That's us! Born and raised in Langhe, first and foremost a Family, then a company. Over the years and thanks to our skillful team we have grown with serenity and balance. Our feet are well anchored to the earth; our dreams, however, never stop. Today, we work a total of 27 hectares spread between Langa and Roero.
Maturation: Malolactic fermentation and ageing in French oak tonneaux. The 2013 Le Vigne "sibi et paucis" was aged a further 6 years after the original release date of September 2017 in the perfect conditions of Luciano's personal winery cellar.
