The search to guarantee great quality and to offer peculiar characteristics has originated the "I Monovigneto" wine line. Four wines that express the peculiarities of the different vineyards of Camperchi. Four personalities enclosed in a bottle, capable of transmitting unique sensations and emotions. Colour: Intense ruby red, with nail tending to brick Aroma: Ripe berries and spicy notes Flavour: Full-bodied at entrance, with lingering aftertaste and good persistence.
Camperchi takes this name because an ancient legend recounts that a temple dedicated to Hercules was erected on our soil.
This context and the legendary references are just a few of the elements that give a peculiar energy to Camperchi wines.
There is also our passion for wine and our love for our territory: these ingredients enable us to achieve excellent results. Camperchi is located in Civitella in Val di Chiana, among the Tuscan hills.
All the property is placed within the production area of Chianti wine PDO and,
among our 140 Ha, we have dedicated our best 22 Ha to our vineyards. Tuscany is the Italian region were wine tradition fully succeeds in keeping its continuity.
It is located between the Tyrrhenian Sea and the northern part of the Apennines, and it boasts its
typical continental weather that enables our vineyards to express their personality at their best.
Sangiovese is the most important native vine and we use it to produce great wines,
which are representative of this land. Our vineyards are deeply rooted in rocky hills between 400 and 600 meters
above sea level and their exposure is mostly oriented to the South.
We look after them very carefully and, thanks to the high density of our plantings
(6000-8000 plants per Ha), we can guarantee excellent grapes.
Each vineyard of Camperchi owns a peculiar personality, which lends unique
features to our wines: this is why we decided to give them names.
Pairing Suggestions: Grilled and roasted red meat and stew.
